Isaiah 58:9-10 NKJV
"9 Then you shall call; and the Lord will Answer
You shall cry, and he will say "Here I am"
If you take away the yoke from your midst
the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness
10 If you extend your soul to the hungery,
and satify the afflicted soul
then your light shall dawn in the darckness,
and your darkness be as noonday."
This verse really struck me. The whole part about taking away the yoke, pointing of fingers, and wicked speach. Wow. Thats an attention grabber. How many of us point fingers, judge, and hate? How many of us try to bare the yoke of judgment, that is not ours to bare? God wants a pure heart, one that feeds the hungry, and conforts the aflicted. One that extends hospitality with out judgment. A heart that is willing to see others the way he sees them. (A soul worth his while) How many of us 'followers of God' are actually putting gossip, hate and judgment behind? Are we Feeding the hungery? Are we satifying the Aflicted? or are we standing by giving our idle judgment?
The title of this Post is 'Who is the Judge". For once, it is no longer me. Jesus is the light who just dawned on my Darkness.
