Catching Up

Hey Everyone!  So I know it has been a few days since I have posted, that is mainly due to lack of Internet.  Got's me some wifi this week, so be prepare for pictures!
First off in the last week, we have been thought 8 states.  It has been a crazy week, but its settling down for a bit now. ( Yay I can take a deep breath)  We left Campaign IL last Saturday, from there we spent a night in ST Louis, and then went though Kansas city, and then to Ferdonia KS. Spent a night and a day there while my husband was doing some work training, and then drove straight up though KS, NE, SD, IA and made it to Dawson MN.  I'm glad we made it uneventfully, and that it has been a lot cooler here.   We will be here for a few weeks, and then I'll update you on where we are going next.  Here are a few pictures from the trip here!

Right out side of St Louis MO, we stopped at this lake for a while to enjoy some scenery and let the kids stretch their legs

Entering St Louie.  While we were here we got a chance to see and old friend of Daniels Family.  She happened to live in Ferguson, and gladly showed us around a bit.  It was very sad to see all the destruction and burnt buildings, as proof of a country in chaos with in the heart. We left that evening and headed for Kansas City.

Hello Kansas City Skyline!   You are beautiful but we are sorry we can not stay.  We stopped to grab some Chinese food in KC and then headed off again for Ferdonia.  Unfortunately we had a dead line to make it to Ferdonia by 7am on Monday morning, and it was already getting late.  However we made it to Ferdonia 12am Monday and slept a few hours before Daniel went to his job training. I took the kids to all the parks in town and Sonic and the car wash because after all that travelling the trash pile up was incredible. :-)

While at one of the parks there, we found this gem.  It was so beautiful that I had to take a picture so that some day I can have one of these in my back yard.  It also looks like something my dad could have built. We stayed in Ferdonia till 3pm, and then off we went heading to the next job sight in Dawson MN.  Seriously that's a long haul.  WE got there at 2:30 in the morning. Were Daniel's brother Ramon had a tent set up for us to crash in at their camping sight.  I was amazed, that the temperature went from the 90s in Ferdonia, to the 50s in Dawson.  BRRRRRRR....
We had planed on camping there with his brother, but after one very cold night, and then a series of rain storms then next day, We found a motel.
Waking up in a tent with two snugly babies one on each side of me made my heart happy.

yesterday was still a little chilly, but we headed out to explore the tiny town of Madison where we are staying, we found a Casey's and a few parks. that's about it:-)  There is a museum too, but it was closed.

That's that.  Hope you have a great Thursday, and i'll blog again soon.
