Saying Good Bye

   Lately we have been learning how to say good bye, and what that means for little ones.  I have never been good at good byes, either I don't say anything at all so I don't puddle up in tears, or I'm a complete mess.  When I was younger, I learned to say good bye when my mom left.  Then, I was saying good bye for who knows how long, but now its only for a week.  Then I was hurting, now I am healed.  So now, me and the kids are learning together how to say good bye when Popy goes to work.    We are learning, that this is OK.  That Popy will always come back, and is no farther than a phone call away.  I have never been good at good byes. But, for the first time I realize, that there can be sweet good byes, not only sad ones!  Bye Popy, we will see you next week!   <3
