The Stillness

 I'm sitting out here with my campfire this still evening reflecting on our particularly busy day.  Not so much busy ,but life is busy with too busy toddlers who never stopped moving and don't like to nap. Well Popy is watching them inside right now.  And I'm watching The Campfire with B listening to the Train Roll by, realizing how blessed I am to have those too busy Toddlers in my life. They teach me to take advantage of the Still Moments. To take time to listen to The Silence because with little ones in your house silence is golden! There's no doubt about that!!! In silence God speaks and reminds me of how blessed I am.  I hope I should never take one moment for granted because moments come and go.  This moment I'm soaking in like a sponge.

I'm sharing this picture because every time I look at it it reminds me of my mom.  Some how I look so much like her.  How have I managed to live so far away from her for so long I will never know.  Mom I miss you! <3
