Independence Day

 This 4th we camped the night of the 3rd, and went kayaking in the morning.  All the cousins, uncles and aunts, and even grandma got a ride in the kayak.  we really had blast!

 

 Then we went to the parade in Lyons with the other uncle, and aunts, and grandpa!  The kids had fun watching the fire trucks, and tractors.

    Then off to grandpas, for some yummy food, and much needed family time!  

Then off to the fire works we go.  as i watched those fire works,

it reminded me of just how much we take for granted.  how good we really have it, because some gave all and believed with all their hearts, that this country was great enough, and worth it to die for.  That MY friends,  is beautiful.  I'm thankful for those who have sacrificed so that I could live the life I have. Alife free of tyranny.
