Just going to have some fun and share 10 things about me. I have been getting alot more traffic lately, so just want to say Hi, Welcome, and here are a few things to get to know me!
1. The most obvious, I'm a mom to two beautiful kiddos. They might not know it, but God pretty much uses them to control my life:). They teach me about being selfless, and I try to teach them the same. They hold my heart.
2. I have two dogs, checkers and B. Checkers is a shih-tzu, and quit a bit older than B( I think he is about 9?). I call him my grumpy old man dog. Cuz he really reminds me of the man from UP. B is only 7 months and has energy to spare. She is a Labrador bullie. Checkers definitely rules the roost when it comes to dogs even though B is 4 times his size:)
3. I love to cook, and I love food. I cook 3 meals a day and prepare snacks for the kids. I really enjoy experimenting and kinda making up my own recipes. I rarely open up a cook book. I guess my love of food comes out in my cooking. So I say I make all my food with love, but it's not love for anyone....more like love for the food.
4. I am really working hard at maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This kinda goes with #3. But most of the food I make is made with organic whole ingredients. And I only cook with olive or coconut oil. I also hit the gym every day 6 days a week. Rain or shine... But not when I'm sick. That's part of being healthy. Allow your body to heal.
5. Speaking of healing, that's been on my mind alot this year. I like to put it this way: this is the year for healing, to let go of past hurts, and forgive. The year I want to let God use me in great ways as a whole person.
6. I live in a camper. That's right. I live in a 35 foot bumper pull with my two kids, two dogs and dear hubs. And surprisingly we all fit. Due to my husband's job, we live in a camper and get the opertunity to travel all over the place.. This obviously is not a permanent gig, but it's what we plan to do untill Danny needs to start school.
7. Thanks to my hubby's great job aka Gods great provision, I pretty much drive my dream car. A 2013 Chevy equinox. I love it, and feel really blessed to ride in style. :).
8. Our home is bilingual. Being has my husband is from Mexico, and he is bilingual, I want my kids to be the same. I want to to understand both and speak both. Some of their relatives don't speak any English and I want them to be able to communicat with them and any other Spanish speaking person out there. So as I learn the language, I teach my kids ad well.
9. I love being outdoors. And one very active. I don'tlike sitting around.
10. It's my dream to be a social worker, and help find good homes for all the children in foster care. I hear heart breaking abuse stories on the news every day, and if a child is truly in danger, I want to find him or her a good home where they can grow, and learn how to be an adult.
What a great post/picture of you Trina! I love it all.
