- We brought board books. Like a whole tub full. My kids love books, so I brought all the little board books we had. Board books seem travel easier than the paper page ones. They can take spills, and getting thrown around, hence they make great car companions.
- I also brought a small tub of small toys, like Danny's Hot wheels, and his farm animals, and Lexi's dolly and Slinky. To name a few.
- We brought Food. I got some cheep plastic containers from our Dollar store, and filled six of them with the following: chopped cantaloupe, chopped up avocado, and chopped up grilled boneless chix breasts. We also brought bagels, chips, bananas and a whole gallon of juice.
- We stopped every 2-3 hours and helped the kids run around. We also tried to do as much driving as possible during their nap time, because they were asleep.
- I had 5 cups of coffee, so that I could set in between their car seats most of the time and read 'We Are Going on a Bear Hunt' 500 Million times. :-)

July 30th 2015
Today is beautiful here in Campaign. Me and the kids took a hike to the mall again this morning. We found the play area there. The kids loved it. Seriously they ran themselves totally out of energy. I am sitting here in our hotel as one of them is asleep and the other is dozing off with Micky Mouse. Hello perfect time to blog, Right? Today I want to share what helped my kids stay mostly happy during our 9 + hour car ride out here. Here is the list. I snagged some of these ideas from some awesome ladies on Instagram, and some from the Lespetitsclarks blog.
