Do You Wana To Build A Snowman???

Me and Danny Love to build Snow men.  We built two the  other day.   I love watching the wonder in my little 3 year old's eyes, as he helps me roll the snow, and pick just the perfect sticks for arms.  And hear him say over and over  "Do you want to build a snow man?".   I guess That is what comes from watching FROZEN 500 times this month.

Oloff
This was the First Snow man we built.  He turned out the best looking.  His wife Who I am posing with below, was not quite as gorgeous.  :-(

Inhale, Exhale

Its the last Friday of the month.  How did January escape us so fast?   But one month on a little bit healthier path has just finished.   I'm no health freak.  I Love Pizza, Ice cream, Chocolate and myriads of other junk foods.  However, this month, I decided to focus on cutting out some junk foods, Starting Plexus, and Hitting the gym 5 days a week at least.   I'm not sure if it helped or not, but two miles seems less harder to run now than it did before. Yay for trying to be healthy right!?!

So that happened this month, but one month on a happier (try not to yell at my kids ) plan also just happened.  That what i want to focus and share on.  As you know I am a stay at home mom.  If you are a stay at home mom, just those words "stay at home mom'  in one sentence can just sound so frustrating.  I'm not saying I don't enjoy my job.  But to be real it is not easy.  Some days have been very frustrating.  It is so easy to get sucked into a pattern of yelling in frustration.  This month  I have tried to brake that cycle.  It is, at least , a start in a good direction, I truly think I am getting some where.  Some times I find my self yelling just because I cant even hear my self think over all this NOISE!!! but most of the times it is because I forgot that although this is a power struggle of types, its between me, and a little kid who is tired, or just needs to spend some alone time in there room.  Most Often it is because I for got two simple things "Inhale" and "Exhale".  Some times I for get to take time to just breath before I address a situation.   So today when the kids got you raging,  don't for get to clear your mind, or 'use it' as I like to say. Take a deep breath, you kids will be thankful that you did!
This is who I breath for

Hey There!

Watching my kids grow and learn is beautiful.  But the most beautiful is watching them become friends.  Nothing is more beautiful that sibling friendship.  Your siblings  that are close in your age, are the the friends that truly know you.  The ones who got your back no matter what, and pat your head when your asleep.

Mom Thoughts January

Welcome to Mom Thoughts. in 2016 once a month I;m going to just write some things about being a mom.  So hello new beginnings right.  This months will be on attending church.

Church, is something that I love.  I have been to quite a few in my life, ranging from mega churches to 3 family home churches with an upright grand and tambourines, and everywhere in between.  My Christianity consists of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ my Lord.  I read the bible, and seek to know God better.  Church is to me a beautiful place to go and worship, take time once a week to learn from someone how to strengthen that relationship, and to just hang out and talk and pray with others who are on your same journey, yet there own.  I love church, that is until I had children.

Trying to wrestle too little kids and make them  sit still or at least be quiet in church is a huge chore.  And then paying attention to the sermon and trying to be polite to other church going friends, when you are just so frustrated and up set at your little movers, that you just want to stuff chocolate in your face or scream not be polite.  Yes this is the cold hard truth of how church going is for me lately.  Not to mention that our church's entire service is in Spanish my second language, which makes it even harder to learn, because I have to really pay attention to understand that in my head.   How ever every week when we leave I some how feel like I just accomplished something great.

We successfully attended church as a family.  And we SURVIVED.  And no one mentioned the multiple times I had to step out with a child having a melt down over their attire.  Then I can strap them into to their care seats, and listen to a service on the radio the whole way home.  and be thankful,  because the reason I attend church right now, is not to learn anything( although I try)  It's to teach my kids about Worshiping God.  What it is.  And most importantly its to ingrain good habits not only in them, but me too.  Small beginnings are always hard, but I know I will look back at this time and be thankful that I stuck this out.

Talking to Toddlers

Who has toddlers?  I do.  I just want to take a  min to talk about some products out there that can help out with raising your tots. There are some really good free recourses out there that can really help especially when it feels like nothing else is working!  My first website that I really like is is one that I'm already permoting on my blog. I encourage any parents to check out there free Audo Webinar.  it is very usefull.  they also have some great books, and other recourses on their web page.  Go check out. Talking to Toddlers.  They can give you a calmer approach to dealing with all those fussy fit throwing situations!
